Lighthouse Club Manila is part of the Lighthouse Club International (LHCI), a worldwide organization based in Hong Kong that seeks to unify the Lighthouse Club and raise its profile around the world.

The Lighthouse Club Manila was established to:
-
Operate a non-profit to provide financial and other support to construction industry accident victims and their families.
-
Offer scholarships for education and training to underprivileged students in construction and related trades.
-
Create and manage a fund dedicated solely to these charitable, social welfare, and educational goals.
-
Encourage participation from all sectors of the construction industry for expertise and collaboration, fostering goodwill among members.
Lighthouse Club Manila’s educational scholarship activities are supported significantly from LHCI, which has two regional benevolent funds which provide significant funding in support of Club academic sponsorships around the region being:
-
James Battersby Educational Trust, and
-
the Asia Pacific Region Benevolent Fund.
These funds provide up to 90% of the support for our academic scholars. With an average scholarship costing approximately ₱100,000 per year, each ₱10,000 raised in Manila is matched with ₱90,000 from these LHCI benevolent funds, meaning that another academic scholar can be supported for 1 year.
